(Cask at Tapping the Admiral, Kentish Town, London, 9 May 2024) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of biscuits, apricots, orange peel and dusty hops. Malty, hoppy taste with toast, biscuits, apricots, orange peel and a balanced citric/dusty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

Cask @ Picture House, Morley. Deeper golden with a creamy head. Fuller-bodied hopped brew, gritty and fruity - with quite a good balance. Smoothish.

[33cl can from Beer52 as “Notting Helles Gate”.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head; sweet, grainy aroma; sweet cereal grain taste; and a sweet finish with a hint of grassy bitterness. Did I mention it’s sweet? Way too sweet.
