Description
B&T began brewing as an independent brewer in 1982 under the name Banks & Taylor's, with the aim to produce traditional cask ales using only the finest raw materials.

In 1994 Banks & Taylor's became B&T Brewery Ltd and continues to produce top quality, award winning cask ales today. Using traditional methods and a combination of pale, wheat, crystal and roast malts along with Challenger, Golding's and Cascade whole hops, B&T are able to produce over 30 different beers, each with their own distinct character and flavour.

Seasonal specials are produced to celebrate or commemorate the many different traditions, folk laws and historical events that have taken place locally.

In 2020 the Brewery was shut down and beers contract brewed at 3 Brewers.

Cast at GBBF 2010. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has sharp notes of spicy hops combined with light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish. I think it is a bit off.
