In 1994 Banks & Taylor's became B&T Brewery Ltd and continues to produce top quality, award winning cask ales today. Using traditional methods and a combination of pale, wheat, crystal and roast malts along with Challenger, Golding's and Cascade whole hops, B&T are able to produce over 30 different beers, each with their own distinct character and flavour.
Seasonal specials are produced to celebrate or commemorate the many different traditions, folk laws and historical events that have taken place locally.
In 2020 the Brewery was shut down and beers contract brewed at 3 Brewers.

Half pint, cask ale at The Wheatsheaf, Southwark. Tiny, film-like layer. Amber-gold in body colour. Malt-fruity nose. Sweet, ripe fruits in flavour along with mid-sweet malts. Rounded bitter ending. Nice (London, 30.07.2011).

Cask@The Elm Tree, Cambridge. Very deep rubyish black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark fruits, some mild notes of berries as well. Flavour is dark fruits, mild roasted notes with sweet malts, toffee and some slight wooden notes. Also has a quite bitter finish. Pleasant and nice mild ale.

Cask@Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, grass, mild floral and wooden notes. Flavour is fruits, caramel malts, some crystal malts as well as some toffee and mild earthyness. Tasty.

Cask at GBBF, 2011. Black pour with a light tan head. Butterscotch, coffee, chocolate and a little smoke aroma. Caramel, toffee and coffee flavour. Dry finish.

Half pint, cask, at CP&K in Pimlico. Clear, copper coloured body, dotted spots at the glassware. Malt-fruity nose. Well balanced taste profile of caramel malts and fruity hops. Modest notes a spiced bitterness to the ending. Fits the name (London, 29.07.2011)

Cask at GBBF, Day 4. Pours brown-black with a foamy, tan head. Dry, cocoa malt aroma with hints of lactic sugar. Medium sweet flavor, milk chocolate, some lacto, mild roast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, hints of scorched earth, ash and tobacco. Nice.

Cask (handpump) @ The Angel - JDW, 3-5 Islington High Street, Islington, Greater London, England N1 9LQ.Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate yeasty, leather - plastic, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, plastic and sour notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101228]

Cask (handpump) @ Cask and Barrel, 115 Broughton Street, Edinburgh, Scotland EH1 3RZ.Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, berry, light smoke - plastic. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, smoked, dark roasted, berry - sugar sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. Cast at GBBF 2010. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has sharp notes of spicy hops combined with light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish. I think it is a bit off.

Cask. Deep rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is chocolate, some ashes, roasted malts, a bit fruity notes as well. Flavour is roasted malts, ashes, some liquorice and also some sweetish dark fruityness.
