Orange with a small head. And yes, with the usual chunks of yeast... Fruity fresh aroma with lemon and a little alcohol. Quite sweet and fruity flavour grassy hops and a pretty decent bitterness

Pour is a brown with a large tan head. Aroma is of dark fruit and yeast. Flavor is sweet candi sugar and some molasses. Very thick moutfeel and very heavy on the swallow. This must be an infected or really old bottle b/c im not getting half or what i should that other raters have gotten. I will still give it a good review based on the brewer who i know puts out good stuff.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, reddish amber coloured effervescent hue with a lot of yeast floaties swimming around and a medium-sized, light-beige foamy head. Yeasty, sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, light fruity accents and coriander, cinnamon and clovy spices. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid toast-malty base with caramel and spices on a shy fruity background; residual sweet, malt-accented finish with a present and warming alcoholic note. Quaffable but surely not for everyday use (24.03.08).

(33cl bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized, light-beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly sugary and bready malt aroma with toasted elements, a moderate fruit-character and notes of marzipan. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a surprisingly soft carbonation. Slightly toasted malt-accented and moderately fruity taste with a tinge of caramel; residual sweet, malty and subtle fruity finish with notes of honey and a fairly well-integrated alcohol (24.03.08).

330ml bottle. Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, with next to no head. Plenty of carbonation. Aroma of sweet grain, yeast, orange and earthy hops. The flavour was complex, with marmalade, apricots, herbs and a mineral edge. The finish was long and dry. An interesting take on a wheat beer.

A gusher on pour. Sweet fruit esters and yeast with flowers, spices and some rotten berries in the aroma. Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head covering a murky amber body. I am a bit worried as there are LOTS of HUGE particles floaring around, even staying on top of the head. The taste is metallic and I can feel the particles on the tongue which kind of ruins it for me. I don’t know if this was stored badly before I bought it, because it has not exceded the sell by date. Dissapointed.

Hazy brown with medium head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, ripe fruits and caramel. Flavor pretty much the same. Ends sweet.

Pours dark reddish brown with light tan head. Aromas of dark fruits, raisins, figs, caramel. Taste is sweet, same as the aroma with belgian candy sugar. LIvely carbonation, slightly syrupy mouthfeel and medium body make this very easy to drink. The alcohol is not noticable at all. Excellent beer, but pehaps a little too sweet.

Bottle at home ... Bright Clear golden with those big chunks of protien (its a shame that this seems to plague lots of Des Rocs beers)... yeasty hop nose .... yeasty with a light fresh lemon hop ...
