Poured a hazy copper color with an off white head. Aromas of malt, yeast, almond and caramel. Moderate sweet flavor of carmelised sugar and malt with some yeast. Medium body with meduim carbonation and a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Not their best but still very good.

Bottle: Hazy, deep orangey coloured, some floaties visible, smaller off-white, persistent foamy layer; distinctive almondy-nutty aromas, backed by some caramel and a shy sourish fruitiness; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, creamy MF; solid almondy-bitter finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Can’t help, but this reminds me a bit of a diluted cough-syrup..............

Poured a hazy amber, orange color with a medium off white head. Aromas of dough, banana, bread, and some sweetness. Slightly sweet and bitter taste with some malts and hops but nothing really stands out. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Easy drinking. Not bad but there are much better tripels that are widely available.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 8 Feb 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy beige head. Slightly hazy with big lumps of sediment floating around. Malty nose with notes of dark and/or dried fruit, prunes and orange peel. Malty taste with dried fruit, caramel, prunes, liquorice and a spicy finish with hints of coriander. Candy sweetness throughout, with burning embers of alcohol fire. Full body, very tasty and very complex beer. Very nice and warming.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a little and lacing white head. Aroma is mild cornish and lemonish, slight wheaty. Fresh fruity wheat flavour with a solid level of coriander. Medium sweet and light citric. Ends smooth yeasty mellow yet fresh lemonish too. Nice brew.

33 cL bottle, trade with DeDollewaitor. Pours clear orange to amber with lots of huge yeast sediments, not really an inviting look of a beer. Huge off-white to orange head. Light caramel and slight metallic aroma. Malty, slight metallic and vaguely pepperish flavour. Ends with a mild pepperish note. Interesting, but I’m not impressed :(

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a huge white head and large yeast sediments, which I had to filter out. Slid coriander and mild malt aroma, slight yeasty dough and spice note too. Smooth yeasty, mild caramel and subdued citrus fruity note. Smooth lingering caramel and towards dry finish. Nice, but not thrilling.
