75 cl Hazy unclear amber orange with litle white head. Aroma & taste has: Sugar, malts, caramel, yeast, spices, alcohol & fruits. Heavy warmth from alcohol but well hidden flavor. Fine body & a long finish. Complexity. Quality as always!

Ruby-red colour, off-white small lasting head. Full aroma: of creamy caramel and dried fruits. Flavor: starts with a tangy bitterness going into a deep fruityness. Leaves a pleasant dryness on the velum and finishes off with a balanced taste of alcohol. Superb Ale.

Hazy amber-brown-reddish body with a creamy off-white head. Quite sweet, malty (caramel) aroma with a hint of hops. Well balanced flavour which is moderately bitter, lightly sweet. A lot of caramel in the flavour which even becomes quite sticky. Nice complexity for this very nice triple beer.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a long lasting brown head. The aroma is powerful with a strong spicy note, cloves and cinnamon amonst others, but also with strong notes of brown sugar, fruit both fresh and over ripe, oranges, peaches, as well as notes of cherries and raisins. The flavor is also very powerful with strong notes of brown sugar, caramel, a complex spice combination, including coriander, cloves, and cinnamon, and strong notes of fruits; fresh peaches and oranges, and dried apricot, prunes, and raisins. And the mouthfeel is very filling. The alcohol is only felt until You swallow, where it leaves a slight burn in the throat.

Dark red-amber beer under a big, dense & creamy yellow head. End of bottle full of UFO’s. Very alcoholic nose with bready notes, fusels, caramel fudge and toffee, as well as some woody notes. Malty-alcoholic smell. Liquorice, alcohol, malt extract, outspokenly sweet. Again toffee & caramel, with just a slight bitter lining, mostly from roasted malts, but maybe just a perceiving of hops, especially retronasal. Yeast with fruity esters impose themselves, certainly at the end of the bottle. Fully viscous, molten butter texture, fiery alcoholic, with a long burning sensation; rich. This is a huge beer by any standard, but it is one that testifies of search of balance. JP. Eloir has come a long way, since he’s left his excise desk for the kettles at his shed. Fortunately for us.

Bottle: Poured a murky amber/brown with a large beige head. Lots of particles suspended below the surface. Nose is citrus and sweet, some winelike tones, even some hops. Taste is rich with sweetness; some wine, fruitiness, citrus, and malt. Some detection of the alcohol presence. Interesting, but not quite what I’d hoped for.
