A super hazy brown ale with a thick light moka head, lots of kleenex floaties. A very pleasant sweet candy sugar aroma, yeast, oranges, caramel and spices. In mouth, wow! A delicious beer with sweet burned caramel, light moka, and good hops, followed by spiced yeast, licorice, and citrus. Rich and onctuous, this is a good sipping beer. Went well with the Cordobes. Bieropholie Private import.

RB rating 400. 33 cL bottle. Pours orange brown with a good off-white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, slight citric and fruity. Flavour is sweet and spicy. Soft malt flavour mixes with the alcohol giving a strong and fullbodied flavour and finish.

Süßlich-alkoholischer Geruch, etwas malzig. Durchwachsenes Bier. Test vom 9.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,8,7,7,7 - 7,45

sample from bottle - Pours hazy brown with a fluffy head. It has a sweet, yeasty aroma that carries through into a flavor that holds some dark fruit notes as well as a hint of spice. It seemed to be medium bodied and lightly carbonated on the palate. I thought this one was quite good, but not great. I expected more. My sample was near the end of the bottle though. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try it again.

Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Copper colour then a massive amount of floaters. Sweetish Belgian triple, tangerine. Just so difficult to drink. Syrupy sweet.

Bottled at Belgobaren, Stockholm. With it’s cloudy golden colour and, small airy head it doesn’t look very appetizing, but looks can deceive. There’s a powerful orange peel aroma. It’s sweet with solid, rounded mouthfeel and evident notes of coriander and seville orange. It’s full flavoured, and though rather sweet it steers well clear of becoming sticky, offering a combination of the drinkability and refreshment of a witbier and the complexity and flavour depth of a strong Belgian golden ale. Finsishes soothing almost completely without biterness.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a white fluffy head. Lots of floaties and sedement. Aroma is very fruity and pineapple. Flavor is a bit bready with some yeast and a nice citrus aftertaste. Not the best by this brewer but well worth your time.
