Desk beer. Pour very clear golden with a short lived white froth. Aroma is initially horrible skunky hops, adjunct, grassy, ittle sweet, some green apple. Flavour is composed of dry malts, adjunct corn, carbonic acid bite. Pretty flavourless. Palate is light and a bit abrasive carbonation, dry and thin in the finish. Meh.

Bottle shared on the 42nd floor - monumental thanks to Stuu for this treat. Pours crystal clear, pale yellow with a frothy white head. The nose holds lemon, spicy ginger, ginger snap cookies. Medium sweet flavor, a little syrupy, with more tangy lemon, ginger, white sugar. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sugary finish, some ripe lemon, a little dish cleaner, mild ginger spice. Pretty solid radler.

Bottle big thanks to Stuu666. It pours very lightly hazy gold with small white head. The nose is fresh, ginger, white bread, cracker and dull lime. The taste is crisp, tangy lime, limeade, light ginger, white bread with a short, tangy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad for the style.

Bottle split at the level 42 tasting, thanks to Stu 6’6’6’ via Bropey, 09/03/16. Pale yellow with a moderate off white cap. Nose is big on ginger, lemonade, damp cloth, hint of fart ... kind of bang on. Taste comprises sweet lemon tea, ginger shavings, straw, sweet licks, lime cordial. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Sincere radler gamesmanship for sho !

440ml can. Pours light gold with a large head. Aroma is artificial sweetener and cheap fruit chewing gum. Taste is sweet, watered down spiced rum. Old school corner shop 10p mix up. Alcopop filth at its finest.

Can from B&M, Halifax. Blonde with a small head. The rum flavouring is dominant and hides the fosters lager taste, although it’s not particularly appealing alternative taste to the original. It does provide a small smoothness to the beer though which is fine in the palate. There’s rum in its aroma.

Free promo can at the Bull Ring, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with few bubbles and a thin broken white head. The aroma is sugary malt, light rum, some spices. The flavour is big sweet with a spicy lemonade, light rum palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. It’s tart fuel for sure, but i’ve tasted worse.

Keg at Victoria Inn Chester; clear straw yellow pour with a thin white head, sweet aroma with a hint of spice, taste has spiced rum with some sweet malt action, surprisingly refreshing.

Keg at the Dobblers Arms, Cambridge. Two dead gnats in the head actually add to the life of this boring beer. Light gold, cute little bubbles floating upwards. Smells of zero, maybe I have a cold, but I think that this actually has no smell. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Taste is... ok. Sweet/bitter, noncommittal. Comes from the Budweiser school of ’alcohol flavoured water’. Decent palate, the carbonation helps. Don’t bother.
