Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with minimal off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is mixed hops with some smoky hints. In the mouth it is briefly sweet at the start before hoppy bitterness floods in and swamps all. Texture is somewhat watery. Flavours are floral hops, citrus, mango and tropical fruits with hints of herbs and grapefruit coming later. Finish is decidedly dry and bitter. This is decent.

Taste comprises crisp malts, toffee, stewed fruits, brown bread crusts, herb, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine lightly massaging carbonation, semi drying close.
Solid Marzen.

Hand pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn on 11th September 2025. My first cask ale for over 50 days. Clear light golden body, white crown on top that stayed around for a while and gave some decent lacing. Both citrussy and piney in the nose and taste, pale malts add a semblance of balance. Nice, no fuss pint.

Draft at The Organ Grinder, Lincoln. Slight hazed golden colour with a a white head. Aroma and taste are fruity slight topical citrus. And slight sweet. Smooth body.

Drucken på cask på Bishop Gustaf Malmö. Ljusgul disig vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Lätt kropp för ch väldigt snäll och fruktig smakbild. Har Neipa-trenden även tagit sig till Cask-världen. Druvor, citrus, kiwi, krusbär och väldigt lätt beska. Trevlig men inte vad jag väntade mig och kanske inte heller vad jag önskades fin sommaröl.

Appearance - yellow to orange with a very slight haze and a fluffy white head.
Nose - orange, mango, light pine and toffee.
Taste - ripe apricot, toffee and just an edge of pine this time.
Palate - medium bodied, juicy, slightly sweet and then bitter.
Overall - good stuff!
