On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2018, pours a cloudy peachy pink with a small white head. Nose brings tart apple skins, light acidity and light farmhouse character. Flavour is similar, with bright, moderately acidic apples, light funk and some earthiness. Not the most complex, but it works well enough. Meh.

A hazed dark amber cider with a thin off white head. In aroma, light cork character, apple jam, light acidity, fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet tart apple pulp with light lactic notes, light berries, light mineral notes, light vanilla, very nice.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity apple jam with light complex cork, light woody notes, very nice. RERATE: (750ml 2019 bottle from the cidery webshop) Clear straw gold pour with a small white head that fades. Notes are quite similar in general character to my previous rate, but with additions of some nice earthy herbal stuff, soft curry spices (cumin seed? turmeric?) and vermiculite in the nose and some soft white tea, lemon pith and grass in the flavour with a reprise of that curry-esque subtle vibe. Much more interesting than my previous rate, though the lightness still stands and I might prefer a bit more intensity throughout. (7-3-7-4-16) (On tap @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Apr 20/18) Pours clear medium gold with almost no head. Notes of crisp lightly sweet apples, natural white wine, grape skins, light funk, tannic hints, maybe a little touch of some spicebox, light and a little watery, barely off-dry and finishing dry with lingering grape skin tannins. Light mouthfeel, slightly spritzy carbonation. Lacking some heft for me, the wine-like nature is nice but everything is a little too mild and not forceful enough in character and I didn't find the apple quality very deep. (7-3-6-3-16)
