Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a clear pale pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle, tart plums, apple skin and gentle acidity. Flavour is loaded with juicy plums, gentle acidity, light apple skins, and low-medium residual sweetness. Nice use of plums, finishing juicy and tart. Good.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of wild yeast, musty red grape skins, and light apple skins. Flavour is dry and funky, with a really nice dry red grape skin character, great bugs, oak, vinous notes and a touch of apple skins. Expertly crafted, dry, funky and complex. Excellent.

Bottle pour at The Magnet, pours a clear pinkish amber with a tiny white head. Aroma is loaded with tart plums, a touch of cherries, and plenty of apple skins. Flavour has moderate acidity, with wild yeast, tart cherries, and plenty of tart plums. Low residual sweetness, with lots of plums and cherry that meld well with the wild yeast. Very good.

Aus der Dose im 2023-11 getrunken. Diese Farmhouse Cider kommt sehr klassisch daher. Das Apfelaroma ist herb und weniger süß. Der Säuregehalt ist eher schwach und ein recht kurzer Abgang.

Aus der Flasche 2023-10 im Muted Horn getrunken. Dieser klar messingfarbende Cider-Wine-Hybrid aus Sherry-Apfelwein und hellem Sauvignon Blanc hat eine Ester-Aroma, die über alles steht und ich als Fehlnote bezeichnen würde. Später wenn der Cider wärmer wird zeigen sich hinter dem Esteraroma auch Apfelaromen. Aber nein das Cider ist nicht meins!

Aus der Flasche 2023-11 im Muted Horn getrunken. Dieser trübe, orange Cider-Wine-Hybrid aus Rosé-Muscat Wein, Gewürztraminer Wein, ein Cider aus Ida Red-Äpfeln bringt ein wunderbares Aroma von hellen Kernfrüchten wie Pfirsiche und gelben Pflaumen ins Glas. Der Köper ist recht kompackt mit einen langen Abgang und einer recht schwachen Säure. Wunderbar!

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2019) im 2023-11 getrunken. Dieser Cider-Wine-Hybrid aus ca. 1/5 Vidal-Wein und 4/5 Cortland-Apfelwein auf Honigwaben gereift zeigt sich wunderbar golden im Glas. Vom Honigeinfluss und vom Wein ist hier nichts zu entdecken. Es bleibt ein sehr gutes, aber auch klassisches Cider mit deutliche herb/sauren Apfelaromen.

750mL bottle, pours a clear caramel colour with almost no head. Nose is bone dry, with tons of barnyard funk, some champagne-like effervescence, and moderate acidity. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of barnyard funk, moderate acidity, and champagne-like carb. Very assertive carb, bone dry and quite acidic.
