Bottle ordered from Beer Shop HQ, St Albans. Aroma is sweet - syrupy dried fruit. Opaque amber. Thick foamy white head with healthy lacing. Light-medium woody and boozy bitter streak. Followed by sweet dried fruit and sweeter marmalade. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nice. A lite Barley Wine.

Bottle ordered from Beer Shop HQ, St Albans. Aroma is low key dark dough and dried fruit with a boozy edge. Opaque dark brown. Thick fluffy foamy off-white head. Light-medium sweet dough. Dark fruit. Molasses. However the booze is then what is prominent. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long very astringent finish. The barrel-aging takes the lead and it ends up very bitter and astringent but with a redeeming underlying sweetnes..
