29/11/2018. Cask at the Dove Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit and stewed veg. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Wasn't keen on this.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 2, 08/08/18. Mahogany brown pour with a decent beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, brown bread, biscuit, light fruit esters. Taste comprises mellow fruit esters, grains, hint of rye bread, cheesecake base, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... a touch insipid.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Twangy caramel malts. Fair dose of spicy floralness. Esters before a dry and spicy finish. Not doing much for me.
