Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Fresh growler from Cellarmaker. Pours opaque black with a medium brown creamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is very coffee forward, and fresh coffee at that. Tobacco smoke present but not overpowering, quite roasty overall. Flavor is medium sweet, lightly smoky (but not meaty), roasty and lightly bitter. Some acidity from the coffee is present. Lightish body, a bit more on the watery side than I expected, but otherwise quite nice.

On tap at good karma Pale cloudy grass nose is very floral like hibiscus and lavender with a lot of grassy hay. I really enjoyed this. the melon notes were pretty big and it’s a memorable beer.

Late night pour from a growlier thanks to Nolen! Doing a little ratiing from memory here. Pours hazy pale golden with a medium off white head that leaves good lacing on the glass. Aroma is piney, dank, earthy, a bit tropical passionfruit. Flavor is similar, minimal sweetness and a light bitterness. Light body and a bit watery. Good for an APA, but a bit light on the palate.
