Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grassy and floral with Belgian yeast, herbal hop, coriander, hints of mint and lemon. Flavour is light to mild sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Nice Belgian Ale, grassy, herbal, yeasty.

Bottle from Willems Grobbendonk. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty and hoppy at the same time. Taste: Malty, grainy, notes of bread, a lot of great green fresh hop and hints of citrus (orange (zest)). Moderate sweet and over moderate to medium bitterness, very long lasting dry-ish hoppy finish. Medium body, average carbonation. another nice edition of this classic Belgian beer.

Brown sugar and biscuit alike malt aroma. Taste is on candy sugar, slightly roasted malt, with no bitterness. Not bad but too sweet.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 18 Oct 2024) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, hay and grain. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, grass, honey and a gentle grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of swetness. Generic pale lager. Quite enjoyable.

Small 250ml bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a mostly clear golden amber with moderate sized white head, good lacing. Decent freshness in the aroma with sweet malts and a floral, hay and fruity peel hop. The body and mouthfeel is what elevates this beer being mid to full bodied with a soft near frothy carbonation. Its quite a herbal tasting beer, with mixed fruit peel and a long bitter dose in the finish with a reasonable sweet malt backing. There is so much good with this beer in terms of appearance, mouthfeel and balance that I want to give it a 4+ but taste wise its more of a 7/10 for me.
