16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour. Dense, foamy white head. Malty aroma hints at vanilla and birthday cake. Sweet malty flavor upfront. Bready, candy like notes. Vanilla and Black and White cookies come to mind. Sticky mouthfeel. A touch of booziness from the 8% ABV. Interesting and a little different.

This is probably the best cream ale I’ve had, no surprise it won GABF. Just done exactly the way it should be. Smooth light, balanced body. Super clean. Sk adventkal

355ml can. Pours a clear gold with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt, corn, honey and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready malt, corn, orange, honey and floral hops in a sweet, crisp finish. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and average carbonation. Simple and easy to drink.

[12oz can from Beer52 at 7% ABV.] A hazy amber pour with a loose white head; muted tropical fruit aroma; tropical fruit taste with a thick creamy body; and some fresh grapefruit to finish. Good, but not overly impressive, not really living up to its name.

Beer52 offering; as Blood Orange Pale Ale. 12 oz can (355ml) 5.2% ABV; BBE Sep 2021. Drank at home on 4th Oct 2020. Not overly impressed to be honest. Slight haze to the golden/orange body, weak white topping. Orange esters in the nose, orange front to the taste, all a bit 'wishy washy' though compared to the Blood Orange beers I've had from California's Orange County.

[12oz can of Great South Bay Blood Orange Pale Ale from Beer52, ABV 5.2%] A hazy straw coloured pour with a tight white head; aroma of yeast and coriander; fresh, sharp orange taste then a herbal bitterness; and a tart finish.
