At the source: basically a hoppy and bitter DIPA with some sweetness, but not too much. No alcohol burn. Ok.

At the source: fairly standard ipa. Golden body and white head. Aroma is citrus. Taste is citrus with low bitterness. No juice bomb by and stretch, just anfruity IPA. Whatever.

At the source: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is vanilla, malt, slight booze. Taste is malty and lightly sweet. Some light bitterness. Very malty and somewhat woody.

Draught @ NYC Beer Week Opening Bash.Dark brown with very small frothy off-white head, coffee aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter coffee taste, thin body, medium bitter finish. Not bad, not spectacular either, decent.

At NYC beer expo: pours black with a loose beige head. Aroma is hefty chocolate, with the lightest hints of chili. Plenty of roast. Taste is lightly spicy and somewhat sweet. Some bitterness, with a nice bite. Good.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light orange pulp, light tropical fruits, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light orange pulp, light mineral notes, grassy hops, OK. On tap at Flashback Lounge.

Tap at stags head. All the beers I’m drinking today have no ratings yet someone has already added them for me, thank you. Slightly cloudy Amber pour small filmy head. Nose is earthy bitter malt and brown sugar. Tastes of malt, caramel, brown sugar, earth, dried leaf litter. Clean palate slight bitterness.

Draught @ Albion. Inky black with very small frothy tan head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, bitter mocha taste, thin body, longish bitter roasted malt finish. It feels more like a porter than stout.
