Sampled as part of tour at Millstone. Apparently spicebush is akin to allspice. Allspice isn’t the best but this is definitely better. Honey is light-moderate sweet, moderate mouthfeel (not to sticky or sweet but not juice). Wasn’t particularly interesting.

Sampled on tour at source. For me, this is least interesting of their ciders. It least wild/sour and most sweet. Not sweet like bad cider but sweeter than most of their others. The bourbon is not particularly present but seems to compliment the sweeter cider with maybe light vanilla notes.

I first tried this as part of the samples during the tour. I liked it so much in picked up a 750 flip top. Pale color with light haze. Aroma is musty and wild with light raspberry touches. Light wet wood touches. Musty wood. Flavor has more raspberry coming off wood. Lots of tartness with an especially sharp tart finish. Light carbonation. Again light apple must with a hidden apple sweetness and wet wood barrel.

Draft at source. Very pale, not their palest but pale. Sweet and much less crazy than their others. Would never guess it’s hopped. Its not alcopop but sweet for Millstone and moderate tartness follows. Some wet wood.

Sampler at source. Dimmest and hazesst of my 3 samples. Can’t see through it. Aroma has a sweet strawberry thickness akin to mead actually but envolped in the house tartness, wildness, and farmhouse character. Flavor is very tart, very with a thicker mouthfeel for their ciders. Lots more of tingling and sparkling carbonation. Sweet strawberries as well. What a fun wild treat if not a bit too acidic.
