Description
«Atrium» is a Latin word meaning « entrance hall », a place from which we have access to other environments. The Atrium Brewery emanates from a passion for beer, from a strong will to attract other people towards a universe rich of stories, savors and flavors : this is what we are commissioned to do! Therefore we brew unconventional beers making use of high quality products only, carefully selected to lead to a unique sensory experience.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings briny seaweed notes, medium roast, and earthy notes. Flavour has fairly intense roast, with seaweed, and a touch of soy sauce. The seaweed somehow works in here. Not too briny, and the roast works nicely. Good.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 10/2028, batch# L038/23.

33cl can, BB 12/2025, lot# L045/23.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 22 Oct 2023) Golden amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, pink grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with orange peel, grapefruit, resin, crisp-bread and a mild citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Bottle from Geers. Cloudy black, no head. Aroma of milk chocolate, dark fudge, vanilla bean, candied plum, brandy, cinnamon, speculoos, tonka, cappuccino. Taste has sweet plum, raisin & date in a very thick malt body of toffee, milk chocolate and almond, supplemented by spicy tonka & cinnamon. Herbal hoppy finish, offering toasty & spicy notes along dark fruits, vanilla and warming brandy-like alcohol. Full body, oily-syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Intense and elegant Pastry Stout, great.
