Tap at Delirium Tokyo. Aroma is very grainy, Belgian yeast, light berry fruitiness, dry and crisp. Good stuff. Slightly floral.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, considerably lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty and grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some coffee, green onion, lemon zest. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty, chocolately dark malty and grassy, slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, some coffee, hints of grass, lemon, lemongrass, some orange zest, a touch of green onion, minimally metallic overtones; lingering, chocolately and citrusy, minimally sticky finish. Well hopped, serious Black IPA resemblance. Subjectively ... NOT the best stout in the world! ... but quite high in the charts. Very good!

Bottle from a belgian beer supermarket, unknown now as it has been ageing with me for at least two years. Aroma of predominantly red wine, and sometimes hint of strawb sweets. Watery stout apperance. Tate is equally red wine, mastic, sweet dr pepper mixed with tobacco. Oh and bready yeast. All round odd to be honest. Not terrible, just odd. 1 month past sell by date.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast with hints of licorice in the soft, but pleasant aroma. Malt, roast, maple syrup and a hint of smoke in the flavor. Hints of laurel. Fairly well balanced, just a bit sweet stout.
