Description
We are artisan producers at the heart of Somerset’s cider-land making whole juice sparkling cider by the old English method of keeving.

Apples are collected from traditional cider orchards in and around the parish of Pilton and slowly fermented for six months in our cool Victorian cellar before bottling.

Pilton is available as a selection of bottles and also draught in kegs, see our full range here.

750ml bottle from Pilton. Red colour, pink foamy head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of blackcurrant & barrely hints. Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, tart, with wood, barrel and blackcurrant, plus some drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart fruity blackcurrant finish with lingering barrel notes. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, picked up from an online peddler of who I can't recall - Watford, 25/06/21. Clear pale yellow to blonde with a decent white head as it goes for a perry or cider. Nose is waxed pair, grass, straw, apple pulp, quince essence. Taste comprises tangy pear, light funky apple, more waxy tones, figgy notes, orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad at all ... just a touch on the waxy side.
