Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours clear oily gold with no head. The aroma is crispy, crunchy, apple skin, apple wine, honey, muted funk and white wine. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, oily, sick, sour, crunchy, light tannin, puckering, white wine, gooseberry, apple wine, slightly chalky and a touch of minerality with a drying finish.. medium body and moderate carbonation. Like a tannic white wine.

Only rateable Cider of the evening (sixth rate) at the 31st May 2026 Bandstand Beer Gathering in Shrewsbury, five of us sharing stuff. Lots going on, with apples being the main player (just).

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is apple, some rosehip, mild wooden tones with some slight earthy tones. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some quince and mild zesty tones. Nice rich carbonation.

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet baked apples, some green apple skin tartness as well as some fructose sweetness. Flavour is quite similar with some mild funk and a bit wooden tones too. Pleasant sipper.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity nose with notes of red apples, apple peel, dried apricots, citrus and blood orange. Fruity, tart taste with red apples, apple skin, dried apricots, blood orange, citrus peel, quince and a tart finish with a slight astringency. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit different, with a slight sweetness, but fresh and tasty. Very nice.

750ml bottle from Pilton Cider. Orangey golden colour, thin foamy white head and aroma of baked apple, caramel, strawberry hint, some funk. Taste is tart, fleshy appley, baked apple, strawberry note, and fruity, caramel, barnyard funky with some acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry fruity acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with brief, foamy head. Fruity nose with notes of apples, apricots, orange peel and barnyard. Fruity, tart taste with apples, dried apricots, orange peel, marzipan, barnyard and a dry finish with a generous acidity. Medium body, dry. Clean, fresh and dry. Very nice.

Tannic, classic bittersweet nose, big floral honey, slight green pepper.
Bittersweet leaning sweet, honey, green veg, very clean yeast, slightly pedestrian, lovely lingering tannins. Just above entry level in all the right ways.
Super sloshable.

Bottle: Poured a golden with a white bubble ring. Aroma is fresh apples, floral, really sticks to the nose. Taste is fresh cut apples, tannins, floral, dry, tangy.
