[12oz can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; dry in the mouth with a soft tropical fruit taste, particularly pineapple and mango; then a sharp fruity bitterness and a slightly soapy finish. Very drinkable.

Tight foamy white head stayed on highly carbonated pale straw coloured body. Confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, effervescent with a clean back. Bitter, yeast, confectionery, apple(?) & spiced tastes.

[12oz can from Beer52.] An opaque deep brown coloured pour with a scant beige head; earthy malt aroma with some coffee; watery in the mouth with a sweet coffee taste and a malty base; then nothing more. Apparently this how we like our Brown Ale in the south of England. I beg to differ!

Can via Beer 52. Pours dark brown with a beige top. Aroma: toasted malts, coffee & caramel. Taste: light sweet & moderate to heavy bitter, coffee, chocolate, light fruity. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Wasn't a fan, found it overly bitter

14th September 2020, Shrewsbury Beer Share gathering with Syrian Supper in Chez Sophie, five in attendance. 355ml can (not 330ml Mat), brought by me, via Beer52. Mini-haze to the light golden body, not the usual look of a traditional Weissbier, body was watery and weak too. Nose held a little yeastiness and some clove like esters, taste mild yeasty and cloves again; not as exciting as I'd hoped for.

Can from Beer 52. Pours a dark, almost purplish brown with a frothy transient beige head. Has a powerful aroma of coffee, toffee and malts. In the mouth there is an initial fruitiness which is soon swamped by chocolate and malts, making the overall effect sweet. Finish is fruity with some traces of coffee. A bit strange but very nice.

330ml can @ Syrian Supper tasting, Chez Sophie Sep 20. Thanks Jeremy for this. Pours a misty pale yellow, small white head. Light citrus and hefe yeast on the nose. Overall character seems very light, thin, coming across like a low-strength hefe, breezy straw, light yeast sweetness. Ok quencher, but fails to make a lasting mark.

355ml can: 4.5% ABV, came to me via Beer52. Drank at home on 13th Sep 2020. Guess it's colour! Yip it's brown, the head a beige affair. Malty front with traces of chocolate and caramel in the nose and taste. Highly carbonated and almost 'fizzy' in the mouth. Mild coffee flavours in the aftertaste.
