Hops and Hocks, Brooklyn can: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is the fruity mosaic all the way through. Taste is lightly bitter. Kind of mellow and fruity. Mosaic hops doing mosaic hop stuff I suppose. Pretty nice. Easy going down. Didn’t realise this was a session.

Tap at Growler Garage, Burlington. Colour is very cloudy yellow with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, hops and malts. Mosaic dominating.

On tap at The Reservoir, Waterbury, VT.
I helped kill the keg. So they had it in a mason jar for me, the rest is based on observations.
The appearance was basically a hazy burnt yellow color with a light transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a quickly dissipating white foamy head. Moderate lacing.
The smell had some sweet citrus, light floral, and then some white pepper. Belgian sugars underneath.
The taste was mainly sweet initially following through into the white pepper nicely. Light semi-sweet Belgian sugar aftertaste. Wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and smooth. Nice stickiness. Not cloying, good.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good Belgian ale that I would have again even if it wasn’t served in correct glassware.

This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a light yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation rises at a light pace to fill a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace.
The smell starts off with a sweet and dry grassiness over top of a light biscuity goodness. Light floral leafiness rounds out the aroma.
The taste was the sweet grassy dryness leading into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a smooth semi-sticky sweet feel laying down on my tongue.
Overall, what a wonderful pilsener, think it leans towards the German side of the wheelhouse, but I have two more cans, so, I’m content with that. Wouldn’t mind with some bratwurst with this one!

Can @ The Maiden Lane. Pours hazy pale yellow with very small frothy white head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, salty tart taste, thin body, medium tart finish with citrus aftertaste. Very refreshing.

This brew is a cloudy straw color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart citrus, herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart with a salty citrus and spice aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap. Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT. Light gold. Thin, lasting, white head. Nose has bready malts. Some tangy lemon. Hint of herb. Taste is light dry. Some hop bitterness. Nice tang. Crisp, dry and refreshing. Salty lippage. Finishes lightly tart. Dryish close.
