Chelmsfaaarhd winter beer festival. Cask in KEGS. Clear deep amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Caramel - toffee malts. Tangy ripe fruits. Light floralness. Light dry finish. Okay.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, flowers, grainy malt. Taste of grassy and flroal hops, pale malt, toasted malt, biscuit, nice!

Cask @ Chelmsford Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are cramel, fruits, malt and hops. Nice hoppy finish.

Cask @ Chelmsford Beer & Cider Festival. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 150218

Many thanks to Grumbo for this bottle! Smooth fresh floral beginning. Easy to drink, round and floral bitter. Nice Ale characteristic, round and malty bitter in the end. Very crisp and dry, fresh floral with a typical golden ale taste. Nice smooth bitter in the aftertaste. Nice.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017, day 1 - Hackney, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds pale grains, carpets, old citrus rind. Light sweet flavour with more pale bread, rind, biscuits and grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with some doughy biscuits, light bitter hay. So so.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017, day 1 - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds pale grains, lemon rind. Lights sweet flavour, harsh and bitter, with lots of grass, citrus peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Strong, aggressive bitterness in the finish, prominent grass - and little else. Unbalanced.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours clear golden – amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, floury white bread, grass, sort of powdery, grainy and some sugar. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, soft white bread, grassy, pithy, zesty, touch of tannin and toasted grain. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but it drinks easy enough.
