Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

Two different beers and I’m not a fan of either one. On the nose, super phenolic, boozy, pungent. In the mouth, some overripe citrus, passion fruit and honey, oversweet and thin.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Smooth and airy palate, a very mild dryness, good fine carbonation. Soft rich dark malts, redolent with good fruity dark chocolate, some raisin and biscuit vibe before a very pleasant nutty vibe kicks in, smooth but rich and savoury, none of your normal nutty grit here. Smooth finish brings a mild amount of coffee. The overall effect is a the feeling of a rather luxurious dark chocolate fruit and nut bad that has been turned into a liqueur. Juicy choco nut finish. Works for me and works splendiferously!

Can at home. Murky yellow color, white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, citrusy hoppy, hoppy bitter and somewhat fruity. Decent but not much depth to it imo.
