BIAB at Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival 2023. Pale gold colour with reddish tinge, no head and aroma of apple, fleshy, sulphur hint. Taste is sweet, fleshy, apple, strawberry hint, straw, funk, with soft acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium sweet finish. Quite drinkable

750ml bottle from Nightingale Cider. Pale golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, wood barrel, funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, white wine, woody, hint of funk and with mellow acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry soft acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

28/9/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy pale pinkish red with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of apple, berries, woody funky edge. Moderate sweetness, light developing bitterness, dry and slightly tart. Moderate body, average carbonation. Dry woody finish. Developed nicely.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 17/09/23. Hazed strawberry lolly red with a thin white cap that doesn't stay to converse. Nose is tangy apples, light funk, herb, straw, tannins. Taste comprises sharp apples, orchard wood, tannins, light funk, balanced acidic kiss, apple skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent stuff .. good bitter sweet balance with a lot more emphasis on the bitter!

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is green apple skins, some sugary tones with mild nectar as well. Flavour is dry sweetish, but a bit tartish apples. Dry palate. Pleasant!

Can at the Time and Tide Taphouse, Sandwich, 26/08/23. Almost clear light golden yellow with a good sized white cap as it goes for a cider. Nose is cooking apples, straw, apple skins, hedgerow. Taste comprises apple skins, light orchard wood, tannins, straw, grains. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Okay drop if a little stuck in 3rd gear.

75cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright red but with orange undertones. Steady carbonation, no head. Nose - funky farmyard flatulent even, bruised apple, red apple skin and woody. Taste - pink lady, red apple skin and a vinous and plummy. Funky edges. No more flatulence, thank goodness. Palate - intense fruit backed up by frantic carbonation in the mouth. Sweet fruit up front, with a long tart and fresh finish. Overall - the nose wasn't great but a very interesting and enjoyable cider on the palate.

Taste is tart, apple, fleshy, red fruit, berry notes, with alittle funk, vanilla hint and drying acidity. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

75cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Steady carbonation. Nose - funky bruised apple. Green apple, wood and hay. Taste - both fresh and stewed apple. Palate - Creamy medium bodied but good acidity on the finish, meaning balance generally very good. Overall -good.
