500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold pour with a brief fizzy white bubbly head. Aroma has a fruity apple juice with a slightly aged note to it. Taste is mellow sweet apple juice, apple core, fruity note, with a quick drying close to the extent that little flavour lingers. Light bodied and moderate carbonation, light dryness on the palate. Pleasant cider but a bit too mellow. Its not going to be memorable.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a murky orange-gold, brief loose bubbles on top. Aroma of ripe sweet apple juice and peel Taste is a little vague, its sweet with some stewed apple juice, caramel and brown sugars. Pleasant and mellow though. Medium bodied, still, semi-smooth. OK.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a clear dark gold, brief bubbles. Aroma of musty apples and brown sugars, fine but lacks a certain freshness. Taste is dank apple juice, light brown sugar and some tartness. Nothing special but there is a nice crisp semi-dry finish. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, slight syrupy cloyingness. Average cider.

Bottle from Beers of Europe @ 8.4%, certainly a strong one! Murky orange-gold, still, no head. Aroma of leather, sweet apple juice, apple skins. Taste is sweet light-musky apple juice, wood, some sourness, medium dry finish with alcohol warmth on the way down. Slick body, goes down nicely. Quite fruity and warming although lacks some depth. I was half tempted to warm it up as it has a good base for a mulled cider, just need to add your own spices!

500ml bottle shared with Bjørg. Bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsø earlier this year. No head, poor lacing, orange-brownish body next-to-clear. Subdued smell of mid-sweet berry-fruits. Sweet and mid-dry taste of raspberries, a citric note to it. Ends sweet. Soft drink impression. About drinkable. (Tromsø, 14.12.2024).

22/11/2024. BIAB at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours hazy/cloudy orange amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet apples, sugars, baked apple, caramel, slight funky edge. Medium to heavy sweetness, slight tartness. Moderate body, light carbonation. Quite liked it as Lilley's go.
