500ml bottle shared with Bjørg. Bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsø earlier this year. No head, poor lacing, orange-brownish body next-to-clear. Subdued smell of mid-sweet berry-fruits. Sweet and mid-dry taste of raspberries, a citric note to it. Ends sweet. Soft drink impression. About drinkable. (Tromsø, 14.12.2024).

22/11/2024. BIAB at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours hazy/cloudy orange amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet apples, sugars, baked apple, caramel, slight funky edge. Medium to heavy sweetness, slight tartness. Moderate body, light carbonation. Quite liked it as Lilley's go.

Clear bottle 50 cl. Pours almost crystal clear with only a vague tint of green. Subtle but fairly clean apple notes, I don't really sense any elderflower. Medium body, sweet apple notes and only a faint note of the elderflower. Absolutely no tartness. It's sweet but not cloying as other Lilley ciders. 161024

Clear bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear red with a small, rough, off-white head. Intense - artificial - cherry sauce and marzipan aroma. Medium body, cloyingly sweet cherry notes with absolutely no tartness. About as far from decent Cider as you can possibly come. Sticky, sugary shit. 071024

Clear glass bottle 50 cl. Pours almost crystal clear with only a faint, greenish tint. Discreet apple aroma. Medium body, very sweet and sugary with only discreet notes of apples and pears. Way too commercialized Cider for people who do not like Cider. 230924

Draft from the Dayla bar at the Bucks County Show that Em shared - cheers. Golden colour. Tastes of super strong tropical squash. Far too sweet. Even Em, who likes her flavoured ciders, thought this was too sweet. There's a hint of cider in the background but not enough to control the sweetness. The usual tooth-dissolving effort from Lilleys then, although slightly more drinkable than some of their brews.

Bag in a box at the Salmon, Leicester. Bright golden and clear. Smells a bit of plastic and sick, a little bit of rum. Tastes of a cider spiked with cheap Rum or cheap Rum flavouring. Buttery notes before the finish. Now, I have issues with substandard rum flavouring. A good rum cider can be amazing but this is a hard sell.

Handpull at the Salmon, Leicester. Light yellow gold with a little bit of haze. Aroma of pi eapple and passionfruit, unsurprisingly artificial but pleasant enough. Sweet taste, far too sweet but just what I'm in the mood for tonight. Lots of sugared tropical drink flavour. Flat, light body. Hmmmm. It's not a craft cider that's for sure, but nice enough on a warm summer evening.

Keg at Heidrun, HWY, 18/08/24. Hazed carrot shade of orange topped with a thin off white cap that veers to a swirl. Nose is light funk, apple skins, hint of sulphur, caramel. Taste comprises apple pulp, sugars, hedgerow, light funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable cider for the mass market.
