Backlog. Orangeish golden colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is spruce, some mild herbal and grassy tones with mild lemongrass and herbs to it as well. Flavour is floral, some spruce, mild grass with lemongrass and some mild herbal tones to it.

Fra cask på The Roebuck Inn, etter Parsifal på Glyndebourne: klar gylden med fint skum som varer Gress, urter, litt citrus og noe lett floralt. Slank, forfriskende og ganske tørr i avslutningen.

Bottle. Waitrose. Clear dark amber. Good solid shiny off white foam. Slightly nutty hedgerow vinous nose. Taste is light sweet and pretty dry. Moderate leafy hop bitterness. Feels a bit stewed overall. Moderate bitterness to finish. Probably one to try on cask in front of a fire getting grannies tartan.

Cask at the hydrant monument. A clear mid gold coloured pour with a a fine speckled head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty malts, white bread, gooseberry, grass, hedgerow hop. Palate is semi sweet fine cask condition, firm bitterness. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, buttered bread, grass, bitty grains, firm grassy bitterness in the finish.

Foamy off white head on a dark amber coloured body.
Malt, toffee & molasses aroma.
Medium bodied, sharp dry & clean.
Toffee, malt, sweet berry & tangy hopped tastes with a bitter finish.
Decent Bitter.
