AROMA: medium-high beer must and oxidation (cardboard). medium-low neutral sourness in the background as well as a low fruity note. APPEARANCE: light yellow body and slightly hazy. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium beer must and cardboard. medium-low neutral sourness. medium-low bitterness with a slight sour and dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: unfortunately the sample is already past its expiration date. demands retasting.

Je continue mon parcours de découverte des bières polonaises grâce à Marek que je remercie. Cet Imperial Baltic Porter est vraiment au top sur des arômes très appréciables. Tout comme les autres bières que j'ai pu gouter, il manque ce petit plus de densité qui aurait donné la touche de gourmandise supplémentaire qui manque. Mais globalement, cette Imperial Baltic Porter a de quoi vous faire passer un bon moment. En verre nous sommes sur un noir total avec une faible effervescence et une fine mousse brune. Joli nez sur le café, le moelleux au chocolat et le caramel. En bouche, si on peut regretter un manque de densité et une légère astringence, l'ensemble est très appréciable avec une bonne intensité. De légères épices viennent réhausser l'ensemble et l'alcool, à 11,5 % structure très bien l'imperial baltic porter. Le sucre n'est également pas trop poussée pour le style. Pas de réelles fausses notes pour une bière plaisante.

AROMA: medium-high must aroma with a medium-low neutral-acidic background. medium-low fruity aroma and a low oxidized hop note (dried grass). APPEARANCE: light pink color with a lot of sediment if disturbed. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium neutral-acidic flavour, followed by medium-low beer must flavour. low fruity background as well as a low oxidized hop note. finishes a bit of beer must but with acidity giving a good balance. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a straight low-alcohol sour whit a more plesent taste than aroma.

On tap at Bacowka (Schronisko PTTK na przeleczy Wyznianskiej) no dodalo sil idac z Poloniny Carynskiej na Wielka Rawke i Krzemieniec. Piana obfita, stala caly czas podczas konsumpcji zurku. Tresciwe, solidne lagerowo, slodowo, a jak tak zwyczajnie, weglowodany byly w tym momencie potrzebne.

Słodowe, chmielowe w posmaku lekko aptekarskie, trochę mineralne. Barwa złota, lekko opalizujące, piękna i trwała piana, ładny lacing. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa, apteczna, trochę za długa i z czasem robi się męcząca. Lekkie, pijalne, po prostu dobre bez fajerwerków.

50cl Fles van ONP5. Troebel bleekgele kleur, witte kraag. Wort, tarwe, zoete Weizengistgeurtjes, banaan, grapefruitsap, citrus, droog. Het klopt van geen kant maar toch drinkt het OK weg. Lichte body.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is salty, some mild acidity and tart wooden tones along with rhubarn and some floral tones. Flavour is rhubarb, some berries and mild tart wooden tones with some slight acidity and a bit salty tones too. Quite crisp carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is biscuity, some floral, peachy and mild toasted tones. Flavour is nutty, some floral, fruity, bready, grainy and mild peachy tones. Somewhat bitter finish.
