My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a small foamy beige head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy orange, pine and faint caramel. The flavor was bitter and tangy orange, honey and bread. The finish was long and tangy with lingering orange and honey. Medium body. Pleasant.

Bomber from a trade a couple years ago. Nose is floral hops with a lot of toffee and raisin pie sweetness. Clear rust colored with a moderate, lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly bitter, golden raisins adding some sweetness and fruitiness, and some background toffee. Very smooth drinking!

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of light spice and orange. Near medium body. Flavor is pretty much orange zest with a bit of spice. With time I think the spice does turn out to be coriander. Finishes dry, and, might I add, zesty.

22 oz. bottle aged 1 year 3 weeks. Purchased @ Table and Vine, West Springfield, MA for $8.99. Typical poor into a snifter. Nose has roasted malt, dark fruit and slight booze. Flavor is similar but a has a pronounced lingering dark fruit. BIG raisin or a prune like dark fruit. (Maybe from the age) You can pick up the English hops when warm. The body is in the medium range. High drinkability, I finished the bomber with ease. I only picked up the ABV slightly after it reached room temp. Well worth a try!

Bomber from Half Time. Pours quite black with a 3 finger foamy/creamy tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate with some hoppy/veg notes. Full body. Flavor is chocolate, dark fruit, residue of burnt malt/ashy, and some mouth grabbing bitterness, buffered by what seems to be a touch of treacle. I’m also thinking this has floral, but the flavor is so strong and complex it’s hard to be sure. Anyway, if it’s an Impy Stout you want, with no frills and silliness, this is a very good choice.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light tropical fruit. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit lingers with pine and light caramel.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy (small) beige head. Aroma of dark red fruits over some roast malt. Med body. I’m thinking this is fruit of the red sort over some chocolate cola. That’s just gotta be wrong. But it suggests that. So what’s wrong with chocolate cherry cola? Smooth. Excellent texture. Tasty. Mildly challenging. It finishes slightly on the malty side. It’s sort of malt/dry/light malt. Anyway it’s good stuff.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours hazy light amber with a decent creamy near-white head. Aroma is very perfumy to my snoz. Med body. Damn but it is floral. With of course a decent mildly roasted caramel backbone. But it is incredibly floral. So it’s not exactly bitter, and that caramel sweet is detectable, but it’s certainly hopped all to heck. It’s suggestive of a rose petal, but that’s probably not what the floral is. There’s a lot going on in this, and I think it gets a little citric/resin as my tastebuds and nose get used to the floral. Amazing. I think I’ve never had anything so floral at the start.

Bottle: Poured a deep black opal color with a light brown head. Aroma is light in the nose with some coco. Taste is a chalky chocolate mix with some coffee bean and edgy hops.
