Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention. Aroma consists of vinous notes with some oak notes and light funky yeast notes. Taste is also dominated by oak and tart notes with some vinous notes and some light funky Brett notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Closer to a Flanders Red than a porter but interesting nonetheless.

Clery dark golden, no head. Kind of gross looking like juicy juice. Smells like a mix of cheap fruit juice and old shoes and old socks. Taste is really bad. Moldy old strawberries. shoe polish, tiny tartness really hard to get through 2-3 ounces of this beer. Pretty terrible. this is not a gueuze. sorry

Summer 2012 Had this as part of a mixed 6-pack from a convenience store on St-Laurent. It poured a clear light amber with a malty caramel aroma but then with the first sip it completely fell apart. This sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff.

Summer 2012 Had this as part of a mixed 6-pack from a convenience store on St-Laurent. It poured a decent cloudy white with alright head and a light spicy white beer aroma but... this sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff. This was probably the most drinkable of the bunch though.

This sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff. This looked decent, a clear reddish-brown pour, mild maple presence but impossible to enjoy with that disgusting bile aspect to it. As the whole mix pack was off I can say this was the worst 6-pack I ever got and probably the most terrible beer experience I had as far as a tasting.

Summer 2012 Had this as part of a mixed 6-pack from a convenience store on St-Laurent. This sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style (this was a nice clear gold with that belgian notes trying to get past the infection) but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff.
