Wow! Have not have a Schoune beer is such a long time. I seemed to recall them being hit or miss. Loved their Érable one, but many others were infected. This one does give out a little infection. That sourness that does not belong. Hazy brown colour with copper-ruby highlights. The head is light-mocha with a certain creaminess and a layer coats the brew. The sour in the nose reminds me of apples, which should not be here, right over the mild roasted malts. The taste shows a little coffee with the roasted malts, but again - a slight sour touch. Really not much else here. I really thought they would get their shit together after all those years.

Bottle shared at THT October. Bit hazy orange golden with not much head. Balsamico crisps, peach, old faro, candy sugar, light vinegar, sweat, puke, light 🍎 🤢, oxidized. Medium sweet and over medium sour. Medium bodied. It’s old, oxidized and tastes like weird faro, but not too bad.
