Keg at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Plenty of ripe citrus on the nose. Big sweet flavor with lots of ripe citrus, berries, tropical fruits, mellow piney bitterness, some bready pale malts. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slightly syrupy. Light warmth to finish, some sticky resinous pine, ripe and sugary tropical fruits. Pretty heavy overall. Somewhat tasty but not especially bright.

Pours black with a small, dark tan head.Nose shows roasted malt, oats, faint coffee. Not particularly complex but pleasant nonetheless.Flavours include dark chocolate, heavy roast and a little booze.Again, not particularly interesting.Could use a fair bit more carbonation.

330ml bottle. Very nice clear reddish dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Grainy and minimally fruit aroma has notes of red berries. Taste is initially grainy with fruity hints of red berries, later intense grainy and husky with a dry husky finish; subtle sweetness throughout, that sometimes comes close to milk chocolate.

Bottle at home in London. Pours quite a cloudy gold with a moderate, frothy off-white foam head. Aroma holds toasted pine, ripe orange, lightly toasted grainy bread. Medium sweet flavor, some sticky pine, pectin, ripe orange and grapefruit, hints of alcohol and mango. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous to finish, some tangy citrus notes, bitter earth and pine, some citrus rind. I suppose some of the tang present springs from the rye. Nice APA.
