330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy dark orangey amber colour with small, frothy, collapsing, minimally lacing, white head leaving a thin layer. Intense resinous aroma with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, bitter orange. Taste is moderately sweet, sweaty, resinous and fruity, notes of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, minimally spicy hints of pine needles, a cautious, backgroundish bitter hoppy touch adds up to a bitter finish; subtle, soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence, Brockley. Blood red/orange pour with an off white head. Caramel, toffee apple and citrus aroma. Flavours of malts, bitter citrus and a light hop bite. Quite a hoppy finish. Pleasant enough.

15/06/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Ambrata scarica, leggermente torbida, buona schiuma mediamente persistente. Al naso è molto luppolata, con sentori agrumati ed erbacei, malto presente, non pulitissima. In bocca è amara ma bilanciata abbastanza bene, la gradazione alcolica è un po’ eccessiva, finale leggermente sapido. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Discreta.

33 cl. bottle courtesy of / split with Kraddel. Thx! Pours a very dark brownish amber with a creamy thick, light brown head. Light oxidation in the nose, spices, herbs, bitter darkish malts & some soft fruits. Taste is bitter caramel, toffee, brown sugar, floral bitterness, bitter herbs, burned sugar, soft fruits, earthly, sticky, foresty. Sticky body. Not really my thing, not as off-turning as the recent ratings on here would suggest.

33 cl. bottle sampled courtesy of Kraddel. Thx! An American Pale Ale brewed by what I hear is the most popular Italian craft brewery within italy itself, partially along with Extraomnes. It is because they mike fine beers & more importantly because they are the cheapest ones compared to other Italian craft breweries where you frequently have to pay a pretty penny. Pour a clear orange with white bubbles for a head. Smells of spices, grapefruit, musty with herbs & quite a bit of pine. Taste is bitter herbs & caramel malts, light signs of age, herbs & lots of spices, little pine resin & toffee. Medium bodied, agreeable that is for sure, not bad at all.

Bottle from Ninas Edinburgh 120113
Jet Black, thick tan bubbly head, reasonable lacing
Aroma - soft dark malts, dab of chocolate, touch of roast, soft aroma
Taste - Mellow fairly sweet dark malts, mellow smooth chocolate, smooth flavour, some milk sugars, very little roast, uncomplicated flavour, very easy drinking
Palate - Medium carb, medium body, very oily, smooth texture. Palate - not too sweet, almost no bitterness. FInish as main flavour, rapid with a slightly gooey linger
Overall - Very easy drinking chocolate stout - too mellow in flavour to be honest but it’s decent enough
