Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 10/02/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a big bubbly white head that retains well. Nose is pine, juicy fresh hops, grapefruit, orange pith, mango. Taste comprises tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, grass, hops, light pine, mineral notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some bitterness in a crisp and dry finish. Decent flavoursome fayre !

330 ml bottle. Dark brown body, close to black with a big, creamy, good lacing beige head. Relatively mild but nice aroma from black, light roasted malt, some dry fruit and a hint of (not particular) black chocolate. Flavour is very smooth malty, light roasted, dark fruit, balanced bitterness and some chocolate towards the end. Medium plus body and a decent aftertaste in the same direction of the main flavours. Not outstanding, but a very pleasant brew.

BBE 30.09.13 - Pours pitch black with a tiny white head. Aroma of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, cocoa and hints of coffee. Taste is sweetish, malty and roasty with some hints of cocoa and chocolate. Finish is warming, malty and slightly roasty with some cocoa notes. Okay, quite malty and sweetish porter.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloud golden colour with small, froth, half-wa lasting, white head. Pale malty aroma with a fresh fruity touch of citrus and orange, some bitter hop. Taste is pale malty with bitter, minimally grassy, hoppy overtones.

330 ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange to amber body with a fine off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and moderate citric fruit in the direction of peach/apricot. Flavour is sweet and bitter, fruity as in aroma. Medium body, medium bitter aftertaste, all in all a rather medium all the way type IPA. Refreshing and forgotten.

Aroma is surprisingly light with some caramel and exotic fruits. Also distant gluey notes. Flavour is sweet with exotic fruits, lots of caramel and distant gluyey notes. A DIPA too sweet once again.

33 cl. bottle shared by Kraddel – thx! Lightly hazy golden with a white head. Sweetish mellow fruits in the nose, light apricot, tad bland but sweetish malts, light exotic fruits & quite mellow USA hops. Taste is pale malts, dough yeast, bit powdery, light fruits, mellow, light USA hops, citrus & touch exotic. Not bad, bit mellow. Touch powdery body. Agreeable but bit bland.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy light-golden colour, white head. Aroma of pale malts, crackers, hint of pineapple, light hops. Flavour is light sweet, dry malty, light fruity, light floral, nice medium bitter hoppy finish. Light-bodied. Gets better with each sip.
