Description
Everything started in 1925 with our first cider mill. We opened in Lavandera, a small, countryside town just a few kilometers from Gijon. This is where it all began.

Nowadays, Lavandera is still home to the headquarters of Casa Trabanco cider house and where we work every day. It also serves as a meeting point for the many visitors and friends we welcome through our cider-tourism project.

700 ml bottle. Unclear yellow body with a small, short living white head. Aroma has green and yellow apple, mild acidity and some cellar notes. Taste is refreshing with relatively mild apple flavor, distinct acidity that seems to be more intense after more than one glass. Hint of sulphite. Body feels a bit thin and aftertastes ends quite acidic with tartness and more distinct sulphite. Light and refreshing for a few sips but quite plain and ends up a bit boring.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden wit a very quickly-dissipating head. Nose is full of champagne-like effervescence, lots of brut yeast, and a touch of sweet apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of bone dry brut yeast, champagne-like effervescence, and crisp apple yeast. Lots of brut yeast and champagne mustiness. Complex and elegant. Lovely.

Zure appelbom met extra sulfiet. Beetje wrang en niet bijzonder. ik zou het dan ook lekker laten staan --- Beer merged from original tick of Sidra Natural Cosecha Propia on 24 May 2018 at 16:03 - Score: 4
