Hand pulled @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Cloudy pale yellow and has more of a general sweetness than being fruity, but palatably so. Despite the low mango, it has a good taste.

Handpull from the Lord Byron, Trumpington, Cambridge. Purplish red and flat. Think Ribena! Blackcurrant squash aroma. Sweet refreshing taste. Sugary strawberry and a touch of apple. It’s refreshing but doesn’t taste like booze at all, so it’s a tough rate. Nice to drink but it makes me feel like I’m five.

Box @ Bull’s Head, Stoke-on-Trent. Pours a hazy creamy reddish yellow. Aroma is creamy rhubarb and custard, continuing to taste. Lots of creamy custard and soft rhubarb, pretty much unrecognisable as a cider, but I really liked it. Different.

Cask @ Fothergills, Nottingham. Heated up after being pulled. Very sweet and very much a winter warmer. Easy-drinking cider.
