Cask @ Dove Street, Ipswich. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are apples, fruits, sulphur, barnyard and has a nice dry fruity finish?

Box @ Firefly, Hereford. Pours a misty gold, small bubbly head. Fruity aroma with prominent grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is clean, uber fruity with big grapefruit, pineapple and banana notes. Does taste like pure fruit juice.

Cask sample, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival, as Snails Bank Verry Perry, I asked for 1/3 pint, and the bartender asked if I wouldn’t like a smaller sample in stead - a rather strange thing to do. But I quickly found out why - the perry smelled rather nasty, and the flavour was unpleasantly bitter. Yes, I know that perry pear varieties often are more bitter than eating pears, but this simply was not good at all.

Cask at the Brighton Beer Dispensary, Brighton. Copper red coloured pour. Dark fruits dominate the nose. Tastes of ribena. Simple as that really.

Cask at the Brighton Beer Dispensary, Brighton. Dark golden pour, maintains a white head. Baked apple and spice aroma. Spiced apple flavour with a hint of apricot. Not bad.
