(Cask at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool, 26 July) Colour is dark brown with ruby hints, little head. Nose is malty with some chocolate and berries (blueberries and blackberries). Taste is malty and nutty (almond) with wild berries (mainly blueberries) and a dry finish with some delicate bitterness. Rather fruity mild.

Cask@The Aragon, Glasgow. Light copper brown, small creamy head. Honeyish hoppy nose. Malty start, drop of honey, then hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Solid but not very interesting.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Clear copper coloour with disappearing white head. Very perfumed. Pear drops all over it. Bit sweet in the mouth which carries through. Fruit is quite entertaining. Drying hop kicks in on end. Perfumed element is a bit much too be honest

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A dark orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of both fruit, flowers, and hops. The flavor is sweet but boring with notes of flowers and caramel, and a thin body.
