On gravity at Bristol Beer Festival 14/3/2013. Deep gold with next to no head. Sweet, slightly buttery bitter, with toffee, citrus fruits and a slightly earthy malt bite. Finish was bitter and lingering. Not for me.

Half pint, cask at Port Street Beer House. Tan-coloured head blanketing the glass. Almost dark as pitch. Sweet malty aroma. Taste of dark malts and vanilla oak supported by spicy hints. Smooth ending. Well bodied. Pleasant (Manchester, 22.01.2013).

Nose is hops, light mango, tropical fruit notes. Taste comprises hops, juicy tropical fruits, mango, touch grapefruit, sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation a little bitterness in the finish. Aroma of pine and tropical fruits. It has a sweet and silky feel. Flavour is very fruity and sweet but delivers a thirst quenchingly dry finish.
