Pour is a brown out of the clear glass bottle. Aroma is faint with some sweet caramel malts being the stongest thing i can detect. Flavor is much better with lots of earthy malts and a stong bitter hop. Its a decnt beer for a rating and it only cost around $3. If your looking for a hopped out the wazoo west coast IPA you will be dissapointed.

Bottle that I picked up in Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, 24-06-09 consumed in the garden last night. Pours golden with white head, sweet sickly aroma, very artificial boiled sweet nose with some malts. Taste is sweet, industrial and pretty lousy really, most impressive thing was that I finished the bottle. A4 A4 F4 P2 Ov8 2.2

On tap: pours a creamy looking head with a dark amber body, that looks alive for a good few minutes. Aroma is full of bready malts and some sweet bread. Mouth feel is pretty creamy and that is what I liked about it. Otherwise, the beer was mostly just kind of sweet and really heavy on the malt content.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys, Watford. Lager gold with a thin white head; typical GA aroma of pelleted hops; cloying citrus flavour with dusty hops and a metallic edge to the finish. Rather unpleasant.

[Cask at The Crown, Sheringham] Amber, slight white head. Snooth mouthfeel, possibly a little too cloying for a session bitter by the end. Fruity with some sulphur. Heaps better than the bland "Smooth" keg variant, but still pretty forgettable.
