Such a dissapointment. 440 mL can. Pours bronze with a thick, creamy head. Looks good. Taste reminds me of Natty Light. ’Nuff said.

500ml bottle. Mahogany body with a medium white head. Vague aroma of ……..beer? Flavor is mild malty with a great lack of bitterness. OK it’s very low in abv, but why call it an IPA? What’s next – non-alcoholic IPA? It’s not supposed to be like that. This beer is weak on malt and hops even compared to a bitter.

Cask handpull at The Drum Inn, Stanford North. I guess this is brewed for the Rugby World Cup. Gold, lasting beige head. Hoppy grassy aroma. Sweetish citrus fruits. Good cellarman works here I think as the beers are always in good nick even if they are GK. Bit of peach or rose petal. Malts are a little syrupy in mouth. It’s a little too sweet for me. I prefer something more bitter. Fruits rather than hops on finish, although there is a hop presence. Inoffensive.

Leicht bitterer Antrunk. Test vom 12.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,8,6,8,12,8 - 7,70

(Bottle, White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 10 Aug 2007) Dark mahogany with ruby notes, brief beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark fruit, apricots, chocolate and prunes. Some spicy hops beneath the malt. Malty taste with dark fruit, plums and raisins. Some woody notes. Spicy hops in the finish. Slightly above medium body, balanced sweetness. Great balance between malt and hops. Smooth and mellow. Very nice beer.

pint bottle - Pours very dark brown with a thin head and a rich malt aroma that has some hints of dark fruit. The flavor includes sweet roast malts, dark fruit, coffee, and mild hops. It’s medium bodied and may seem a touch watery if served very cold, but letting it warm helps and really brings out the complex flavors. The hops bitterness kicks in a little more in the pleasing finish. Superb and highly recommended.

Bottled(500ml). –Dark brown/ruby colourd, medium sized beige head, pleasant chocolate nose. Light roasted sweet malty, chocolate and fruity aroma with notes of vanilla, dark fruits and spices. Like it states on back label, it trully tastes like cake. The best beer that I’ve tried in last 4-5 months.
