In 2020, we built a formidable 8,500 sq. ft Brewery and TapHouse, which boasts a massive mezzanine bar with 20 taps, and hosts all types of events from beer festivals to comedy nights and corporate events to private parties.
We believe beer is the social glue that binds communities together. By brewing remarkable, flavour-bursting beer and offering unrivalled, memorable experiences, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible when great beer and people unite.
This means we need to be bold, and we need to be big.
In November 2019, we moved to an 8,500 sq. ft warehouse, built a massive 2,500sq. ft, 20 tap taproom, increased our brewing capacity and launched an innovative craft beer brand, Disruption is Brewing. Later they completely abanded the Ascot branding.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Maidenhead Beer Festival 27/7/2018. Deep brown with a slight, off-white, head. Toasty malts, some plain chocolate and touch of dark fruits, leafy hops and a fairly soft finish. Good.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small bubbly head. Hoppy, it has sugars in its nose, but is a sessionable ale.

Cask at the New Leathern Bottle, Warfield. A pale amber pour with a loose white head; leafy citrus aroma; crisp citrus taste with a sweet bready body; and a sweet tangerine finish with a little earthy spice. A pleasant summer beer.

31/5/2018. Bottle from Steam Cellar, Whitley Bay. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, grain, fruit, caramel and malt. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Some sharpness to finish. Ok, but not a winner for me.

17/4/2018. Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, dark fruits and berries. Medium sweetness, quite light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Not spectacular, but a solid performing stout.

Well... wasn't a one-off as it as on again. 30/04/18. Rich chocolate and liquorice aroma. Dark and glossy. Middling beige head. If Terry's Chocolate Orange used extremely bitter chocolate it would taste like this. With added liquorice. Medium bodied. Oily. A slight fizz of carb. Slightly astringent finish. Like. Big time.
