7/8/2024. Cask pour shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly cloudy dark gold with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is musty, grainy, wheaty, yeast, fruit drops, spice, orange, honey, herb. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light sourness. Medium body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Interesting one.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed pale copper gold. Slim leggy white foam. Blurb mentions banana bread. Well there you go. Liquid banana bread. Some “festive” spices spoil things slightly. Taste is pretty sweet and honeyed. Touch of dryness. Medium to full body. High carbonation. Light dry and light bitter finish. Tasty gear for sure.
