Tap at Drunk Uncle. One of the most unique monster stouts in my recent memory. Honey accentuates and complements the rich sweetness. Really good

0.655l bottle many thanks to Lore. Jet black body with a brown head. Aroma and taste of caramel, vanilla, honey, bourbon, roasted malts, nutmeg and some burnt sugar. Wow! Great one.

deep dark brown, almost black colour, moderate sized creamy brown head; aroma of dark chocolate, honeycomb toffee, coffee, some prune, liquorice, slight dried sour cherry and leather notes; taste is the same; I like it very much

On tap at the brewery in Truckee two days after the release party and also from a bottle picked up at the brewery. Pours black with brown head. Unique story behind this beer, with moderate chocolate, chocolate powder, booze and essence of brandy.
Türchen #20: clear, pale golden color and a small White head. Yeasty, faint wheaty nose. Easy drinking, malty-yeaaty, faint spicy, faint Hopp flavors
I Like the mouthfeeling. Yes, Not really complex, but still good

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Really big barrel tone. Oak, vanilla, berry, chocolate, booze. Rich, sweet, heavy..but has some nice character, pleasantly devoid of juvenile flavoring extracts. Okay, fudgy..solid BBS.

Lichte body.

Can day 20 Loz's Beer Republic Advent calendar. Having this whilst listening to Amyl and the Sniffers - Cartoon Darkness, Friday 20th December 2024. Having this whilst listening to Amyl and the Sniffers - Cartoon and about to cook a prawn curry. Pours mid gold with a little haze and a large white head. A little soapy hoppiness, very soft mouthfeel, not getting too much to get excited about here, but it's ok.

Day 20 of the Beer Republic Advent Calendar. A can of course. Aroma is malty, doughy. Light spice. Slightly metallic. Gold - a tad opaque. Long-lasting foamy white head. Inoffensive malty core. Light bitter woody and metallic edge. Hints of citrus bitterness. Light. Thin but slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. When I realised that this beer was a Blonde I was unimpressed. And then I read that it was specifically brewed for people who aren't into craft beer. Golds/Blondes were aimed at lager drinkers so that's fitting. Unassuming beer. Slips down easily. Better than a Pale Lager.
