Bottle. Jet black, oily, sticky mocha head, with some long legs on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet vanilla, and bourbon, with some big charred roasty malts. sticky mouth feel, soft carb. Semi sweet finish, some soy, and dark fruity malts. A touch smoky, with a little ash, and some tobacco.

Bottle. Black pour, large dark brown head. Aroma is like the others, roasty, sticky sweet, loads of dark coffee, and soy notes, with some very dark, charred, roasty fruit. Mouth feel is oily, and silky with a soft carb. Finish is medium bitter, fruitier than the other iterations, earthy barrel notes, light spice. These stouts are ok, but are not as good as anticipated.

White wax dipped bomber. Pours jet black, with a medium brown head. Aroma s quite sweet. Very dark fruit, charred roast, light soy, and hints of sweet, sightly vegetal vanilla. Mouth feel is standard, not as viscous as i expected, and the carb is soft. Finish is medium bitter, quite sweeter than i expected. The vanilla is very soft, and is dominated by the base beer.

Bottle. Jet black, big, frothy mocha head. Aroma is the usual suspects. Big roast, soy, charred coffee, light cocoa powder, earthy barrel, pretty straight forward really. Mouth feel is silky, carb is soft. Finish is medium bitter, subtle sweetness, with a very strong espresso finish. Good, not great.

2017 bottle. Jet black with a huge vanilla, bourbon, earthy, sticky, caramelly nose. Big burnt brown sugar notes, soy, dark chocolate and HUGE bourbon notes. A real barrel bomb. Mouth feel is thick, and syrupy, with a soft carb. Finish is medium to highly bitter, with a strong bourbon barrel finish, with some light vanilla, and charred roast. Alcohol is warming, and this is a definitive sipper. Don't go crazy with this one, it'll bit you.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fruity hoppy aroma with grass, tropical fruits, citrus, mango, grapefruit, melon, some pineapple, and a herbal touch. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Pretty smooth and fruity, good drinkability.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, some vanilla, chocolate, burnt malt, caramel, and a hint of liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Roasty and a bit burnt with coffee, cocoa, the vanilla gives it a slight dessert-like twist.
