Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, coffee, mocha, caramel, liquorice, cocoa. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Medium to full body. Good basic Imperial Stout, on the sweet side with some liquorice.

Dark brown in color almost black with a foamy, nitro light brown head. Aroma is dark roasted grains with hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is smooth and creamy, dark roasted grains, chocolate and coffee.

Can at BRACT #2. Thin body, med-high carbonation. Quite neutral, with med-light bitterness, low sweetness. Background malt, and actually also hops, overall lack of character. Light oxidation and corny DMS. Drinkable, but boring and feels slightly off.

Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to Kenneth, 13/12/23. Black topped with a tan cap that thins to the edge of the glass. Nose is maple syrup, dark malts, light roast, brown sugar melt, molasses. Taste comprises toffee fudge, hint of chocolate, vanilla, lighter maple tones, mellow roast. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Okay sipper but sub par compared to the usual standards of this series.
