Bottle at a tasting in Bratislavka. Thin body, rather low carbonation. Lots of sourness, mostly lacto-whatever, but also med-light acetic. Lots of cucumber and a bunch of other random shit all around the place. Not my cup of whatever. Average.

Can, 2021 version. Another why is this here and why now? beer. Recommended serving temperature is 1.6C! (No.) Reddish amber with a barely pink-tinged cm of head. 3+ Aroma of earthy and slightly leathery berries, a little puke, crackers. The skin of the grapes is more upfront in the taste with fleshy berries and crackers behind. A little acidic, not really bitter at all. Pretty good.

750ml bottle. Poured a cloudy golden color, with a very light off-white head. Aroma was light tart notes. Sour character, grapes. Light citrus. Fizzy character. Holds up relatively well! May actually be better than when it was fresh. At a DCBeer share.

2016 bottle, tasted on 2024-03-13 funky sweet n sour aroma, both brett and hops are noticable. bit on the sweet side for a sour/wild, sort of like a herbal and hoppy saison. flavor is also like a saison most of all, qute herbal, almost tastes a bit like soap, refreshing and hoppy, but that soap thing can be a bit too much at times. In any case very high drinkability and a pretty good saison like flavor once you get used to its pecularities.

Can. 7.2% Syrah version. Deep red, no head. Dry, oaky, moderate sourness creeps up a bit. Lots of slightly tannic red berry-like grapes. Highly reminiscent of the drier end of Australian Sparkling Shiraz - which I like but is deeply unfashionable. Refreshing.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber/red body with practically no head. A few, small bubbles appear when swirling the glass. Strong aroma, acidic, raspberry, red berries in general and a hint of wood. Taste is dry and lemon sour with vinegar, raspberries, malt, oak and acetone. Balanced body with long lasting acidic aftertaste as well. I may enjoy some really sour one, but this is out of balance. Nice flavors otherwise but not possible to drink much of this (and still enjoy it).
