(Cask at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 26 Nov 2022) Pale greenish yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with pears, grass and cucumber. Fruity taste with notes of pears, grass, citrus, cucumber and a dry finish with a balanced acidity. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and clear. Gentle carbonation on pouring. Nose - woody and fresh apples. Apple skin and tannins. Taste - fresh and tart apples. Wood and apple skin again. Palate - light bodied, with persistent acidity on the finish. Overall - quite nice.

Bottle at home, from Cider Incider, 04/06/23. Almost clear golden blonde with a white cap that soon dissipates. Nose is crisp apple, light wooded tones, tannins, hedgerow, caramelised apples. Taste comprises bitter sweet apples, tannins, hint of toffee apple, light orchard meadow, apple pulp, light sugar sprinkle. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close. Bang on the money as one expects from TO and Co.

Bottle from the Courtyard Dairy as part of their virtual cheese and cider tasting. Clear deep bronzey-gold. Some sweet apple at first before some serious dryness kicks in. A hint of sourness too. Light farmyard, some wood and rotten apples. Slightly watery. Lasting dry finish. It's not up to the normal standard if Oliver's, but I still enjoyed it.

75cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy straw colour with the odd wee floater. Nose - sweet pear and apple, some acid evident. Taste - actually quite tart apple and pear considering the name. Palate - medium bodied and quite tart through to the finish. Overall - good perry, not as sweet as expected.

Draught at Station House Cider Festival, 19May2023. Orangey amber-brown golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, brown sugar, mellow fruity. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, apple, wood barrel, dried fruity, oaky, vanilla, funk, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry woody tannic finish. Very drinkable

330ml bottle bought at the National Cider Museum, Hereford and drunk at home. Light gold, still and clear. Woody aroma to the fore with apples taking a backseat and little touches of caramel and orange peel. Taste is very much on the dry side with just hints of sweetness around the edges. More okay character in the finish. A nice on-the-strong-side cider.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2022) Pale yellow colour with brief head. Fruity nose with notes of pears, citrus and grass. Fruity, sweetish taste with pears, ripe apples, grass, mixed fruit and a sweetish finish with a balanced acidity. Medium body, medium sweet. Really tasty and well balanced perry, highly drinkable. Very nice.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 08/05/23. Clear deep copper with a fast escaping just off white cap. Nose is tarte apple, funk, vanilla oak, herb, tannins, orchard wood, light spice, mellow whisky barrel. Taste comprises funky apple, whisky, light smoke, straw, herb, vinous, hedgerow, apple core, oak, light medicinal aspects. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid BA cider, whisky is evident but mellow and well balanced.
