Bottle @ Armin’s house. Thanks again Armin! Hazy, golden orange appearance with a white head. Fairly pineapple bretty, Chardonnay, a bit spicy, fairly apricot/peach fruity flavor. Tangy bretty, a bit tart, pineapple, peach fruity, dry white wine, fruity flavor. Easy enough to drink but not legendary.

750 ml. Pale golden body. White, fizzy head, diminishing. Funky brett aroma on top of sweet citrus. Barnyard, tropical fruit, lemon, perfume. Mild toasted grain in background. Flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Dry, dry finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I like brett and I like complex IPAs, but the two together are not working for me here. Have to wonder what this would be like without the funk considering the complexity the beer flirts with before the barnyard, lacquer flavors and bitterness overwhelm them.

Great super hazy golden blonde coloured body with a dense, thick white head. Aroma of yeast, gueuze, sour grapes, cherries, oak and a pleasant amount of coriander seed and curacao. Light-bodied; Slightly sour flavour at first reminds of a gueuze, then shows a lot of light wheat and yeast flavours, some light spices and a touch of the dry tastes. Aftertaste is nice and complex with the majority of flavours in the wheat and yeast ranges with a touch of alcohol noticeable and some light spices as well. Overall, a very nice wit, with tons of good flavours and a subtle complexity that finishes this off very nicely. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 23-June-2011, sampled at home in Washington on 29-April-2012, even though I’ve seen it for sale on this side of the USA, a very nice beer to bring back across the whole of America.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some sweet grains and fruit with a bit of lemon and Brett underlying. Flavor is sweet up front with a growing note of light fruit, grass, lemon and funk. Slightly dry.

Bottle 75 cl. Slightly hazy yellow with a small, white head. Distinctly Bretty aroma with a distinct underlying sweetness. Quite a rich body, sweet fruit, a little farty and chemical and again distinctly Bretty. Warming alcohol finish. 280412

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is very funky smelling more like a saison than IPA, with loads of brett, barnyard funk, horse blanket, white wine, Flavour is extremely dry and funky, with loads of barnyard, loads of brett / very yeasty, white wine (no tartness though), horse blanket and uber-dry citrusy hops. Finishes very dry with loads of brett character. Strikes me more as a saison than anything. Delicious, nevertheless.
